Exclamation how to scan my computer


hi friends plz guide me how can i scan my computer with an antivirus software what is the better way 1.safe mode ot normal mode

No need to go to safe mode for scanning.Just open your antivirus window. Select scan , entire computer or individual drives.
BTW which antivirus you are using

frst of all u need a gud antivirus n 2 update it...then there is an option of scanning ur entire drive or selected folders....
u may go for avast free edition n update it...then go for boot time scan....it pretty gud although not d best

if ur av can schedule a boot-time scan (like, say, avast), its the best time.
else safe mode (dont think, say norton can scan in safe mode)
else then normal mode.

More than Safe mode or notmal Boot... what Matters is under any condition, turn of the System Restore and run the scan from one Admin account which has access to portion of the HDDs !!!

using avast 1 can do boot up scan(all local drives/selected folder) scan or normal scan after booting,

just click the button "scan computer" ........ it will scan all ur partitions ......

Boot time scan is bettr know as MBR scan.

IN Master Boot Record scan system scnas in first sector of HDD

before doing that it does POST(Power On Self Test).

Start the antivirus(I mean the proper interface etc etc.) and then right click and u see a menu. Click "Schedule Boot Time Scan" .. reboot and relx
