change path of my music

I guess it is done like this:-

1. regedit

2. Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \
CurrentVersion \ Explorer \ Shell Folders.

3. Right click on the folders you want to change and select Modify or double
click it.

4. change the path ( In my case d:\others\music) and then reboot

now problem is after reboot nothing happens . I checked regedit and and I got to know that path has been changed to dafault agian .

I tried it 4 -5 times and the same result ( path changed to default ).

what is the problem and what is it solution ?

Ya, It Can Also Be Done By Using Tuneup Utilities

But I Want To Do It Manually
