Unhappy "Show hidden files and folders" button is missing


hi, all of a sudden the "Show hidden files and folders" button is missing from the tools-folder options-view menu..

here is an image of how it looks..
so if any one by mistake clicks "Do not show hidden files and folders" and clicks OK the i cant view the hidden files..
help me in bringing it back...

find dis key in registry

Code:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced\Folder\Hidden
modify d value data of Type to group

and u will c d unseen

u sure u ver unable 2 get dat button back

did u find d key dat i had asked 2 find

and den did u find d value Type

did u double click on it and den wen d win opens up did u type ingroup
and save it
if need log off and den log back in

if it still does not help u can enable show hidden files and folders from here

in d right side u will find u will find d key hidden double click on it and in d win dat opens up change d value to 1

also it seems dat ur computer is infected, run a good anti-virus scan like kaspersky or avast

thanx for yo reply.. but still didnt work out... tried both the reg edit stuffs.. everything is fine.. also i'm using kaspersky 7.0 which s up to date...
