Default Partition without lossing data


Hi

my pc hav two 20 GB partition.
Is it possible to merge both partition into one of 40 GB without lossing my data?

I dont think it is posiible...however you can give a try to magic partition.

partiton magic does claim to b able to do wat u want but it is always better 2 back up data b4 venturing out 2 do this

try paragon partition manager, its better than partition magic.

I once lost data while merging two drives but was never a case in paragon partition manage.

merging ur partition the data will be copied, I often do it & have never lost it............but there is no harm in taking a back up, so I use "trueimage" for making a back up.

try using partition magic... but its better u back up the data... b'coz by chance , once lost then its useless crying over spilt milk..

it is possible
many softwares like partition magic do this but it is risky, so do it at ur own risk

There is not much detail in this, its simple procedure, when using Partition magic it will ask u to choose the partition to merge, then what it does is that it removes the logical partition & moves the data to another area of the disk.

Points to remember is that u should have 20% free space at least & u should have good power backup for 20 mins, if there is power failure then u will be messed up, hence its said to have a data backup.

I dont need to take backup as I have 30mins backup on APC ups but since its important data I take the backup using arconis true image.
