pls help needed urgently!!!!

suddenly my keboard windows key stopped working after a software removal.
also can't open Task Manager by ctrl+alt+del key.

pls. help

Alternatively you may use Ctrl+Shift+Esc to invoke the task manager!!

i think ctrl and windows keys are not working.
i unistallled Ad-Aware 2007 free edition.
i tried word pad wrote somthing than select all than tried to copy with ctrl+c but no repsonce and only word "c" written.

Guys..for me too the ctrl key is not working..esp Ctrl+c and Ctrl+v.

I am not sure when this occurred..I even cleaned my keyboard of no use..

any ideaz???

try pressing those key`s firmly ....... my kb has problem 2 ......... when i press more or try pressing cross keys it works ...........


try installing drivers again ...........

sinc u mention esp duz it mean dat other shortcuts involving ctrl work?

like

CTRL+ESC
CTRL+X
CTRL+Z
CTRL+B
CTRL+U
CTRL+I

if none of them work then it definitely means dat ur ctrl key is givin up

did u clean it after dismantelin d whole keyboard

if not den as a last measure u might wan 2 dismantle d keyboard, check 4 d alignment of d rubber membrane underneath, also d alignment of d circuit undernaeth d membrane 2 ensure dat wen u press d ctrl key it is makin proper contact wit d proper location in d circuit or not

check if the the default keyboard layout was changed before dismantling the hardware. check a different keyboard on ur system. that will help ascertain where is the problem.
