Default can bluetooth be used for pc-pc communication


hi fnds....my lappy is bluetooth enabled and if i put a bluetooth dongle in the desktop then can i access the files of both pcs on each other just as if on lan???
as of now iam using the cable which is a bit messy.

yes it can be .... for xp it is a little tricky but for vista its very simple ... if both machines have vista then right click on the bluetooth icon next to the time and select 'Join a Personal Area Network' then it will search for the devices if the other machine has vista it will pick it up rather quickly and then u can connect

thanks iMav.... now can u just tell me what is the data transfer speed ... if u have used or seen someone using it.. i knw that the site says max 3 mbps... but have u used it ?
