Default Which media do i use for 20x DVD burning

I just bought a LITEON 20X DVD burner. The manual says the writer will function at 20x prefectly with "good" media. How do i check the "goodness" of the media?
Best ask people who have tried.
I know it works on Moser Bayer for sure.

Can i use any of the following brands:
a> amkette
b> sony
c> Shohanna
d> eurovision
e> other

Its not good to write DATA at such high speeds as far as my experience tells me plus i think your HDD transfer date wont be able to match 20x

Try 8X Max for DVDs. Its safer that way. I burn at 4X.

Are you guys crazy!!!
I regularly burn moserbaer pro DVDs at 16x (it takes exactly 5.28min. to write completely) without any f*****g problem.YES NO PROBLEM WHAT SO EVER.
20x media are not available at the moment but sure as hell I will burn them to at their max. possible speed when they are available.

Sony ones does burn at their max speed i.e. 16X. I haven't seen any media supporting 20X atleast in my city. You can use Sony without any problem. About Moser Bear so many fake ones I got on my previous purchase. So be careful. They were useless just in 3-4 months (I generally buy atleast 20 or so to buy them cheap)

I write at 12x. 16x seems little unpromising.
Also always go for DVD +R, they are more reliable than DVD-R.

imation dvd-r haf worked fine for me. but i doubt if 20x is available. they've been very reliable. but i suggest to maintain compatibility wid few drives and players burn at a lower speed.

well there'll be no problem right now , tell us when ur media is rendered useless after 5 years .

I myself use Moserbaer DVD's n burn at 8X max or 4X if data is really important .
