Just check HIDDEN from folder properties....

Just kidding dude...

The better way is to Encrypt rather than hidden.

convert d partition u want 2 secure d data on in2 NTFS
den go 2 d drive, right click on d drive letter, select Properties

den select d General tab in d window dat opens up

click on a Advanced button. Another win will open up
in dat there will b an option dat says Encrypt data to secure data, check it and den all ur dat wud become encrypted [meaning safe, well almost safe at least]

just convertin it to ntfs will actually imporve file transfer speeds
but encryptin it will mena dat every time u access d data it wud first have 2 b decrypted b4 runnin, so a lil'l drop in speed is normal

BTW
i suggest u shtdown AZeurus or any program accessing d drive b4 startin d conversion process
actually since u have a half d/ld file in dat drive, not sure if d file will b affected or not
but ne subsequent adition shud not b affected [AFAIK]

hiding w/o encryption is useless, u may wan 2 try

T r u e C r y p t

FEATURES

Quote:

* Creates a virtual encrypted disk within a file and mounts it as a real disk.

* Encrypts an entire hard disk partition or a storage device such as USB flash drive.

* Encryption is automatic, real-time (on-the-fly) and transparent.

* Provides two levels of plausible deniability, in case an adversary forces you to reveal the password:

1) Hidden volume (steganography – more information may be found here).

2) No TrueCrypt volume can be identified (volumes cannot be distinguished from random data).

* Encryption algorithms: AES-256, Serpent, and Twofish. Mode of operation: LRW.

Few questions about encryption.

I have two OS XP and Vista and I encrypt a folder say mistress from XP.

Can some other user from XP or vista access it and what if I format my system drive and reinstall my os as a fresh.
