Help:urgent: Cant Dwnld anything from rapidshare.
I'm new to rapidshare.
I cant dwnld anything from rapidshare. When I try to dwnld
anything i get a page like this.

there is two options "premium" and "free".
After clicking 'free' i get apage like this.
http://rs61.rapidshare.com/files/468...tter_all_7.rar
then i enter the requested code and click download.
The dwnld get starts but get stopped.
I'm using firefox and free download manager.

Free download thru Rapidshare doesnt support Download managers.. that might be ur problem!!

Use Internet Download Manager....as its working for me in downloading files from raidshare n I too using firefox as my browser.....

dunno abt IDM [never used it]
but if u want 2 d/l from rapidshare use ur browsers default d/l manager, u will never face any problems wit downloads and wont have 2 d/l or install any more swz 4 dis

Free users are not allowed to use Download Managers, not can they resume download, so if you are pasuing download..it can cause probs.

IDM might not be using the bandwidth accelaration that the other DM like FDM and flashget use!

I too not claming that .....IDM allows pausing the download from rapidshare (using free dwnlds)...
If u r not satisfy with the browser default download manager...then you can use IDM...which provides you better speed for dwnlding the files...

To resume in RS here is the trick. try it mate  Right click on old download => Properties => Copy and Paste URL into web address =>
scroll down page to "Download-session invalid. Please click here." => click on here => right click...
Copy Shortcut => Paste new link in old download URL => then just start downloading again!

IDM must be working like a standard inbuilt downloader works, without Spliting into parts and accerlerating download, thats it

its pretty much d only way 2 dl usin free accn
but did u no in 1 of d threads i had posted, sum guy kept climing dat he/she/it downloads stuff from RS free accn using FDM even now 
been usin d stuff 4 past 2-3 yrs now and d feature disabled for d past 1-1.5 yr no but still people claimin otherwise
