Default just little information abt avast


hi guys i m just using ares and avast .so here is the question i want that when i download something using ares avast scan the data or not for virus and other malware.i am asking this beacz i have seen this.------
P2P Shield:
- Kazaa & KazaaLite
- Direct Connect
- Direct Connect++
if it doesnot scan the incoming traffic of ares then i need to change my antivirus. so suggest any antivirus which is free as well scan traffic of utorrent and ares.

Thats odd I thought all AV scanners did this, I know when I tried Avast out it got my torrents that were being downloaded. you might have the setting set to low....

AFAIK, Avast does scan the incoming data if it is turned on.
