Default Wireless Help !


Hi frnds , I am using MTNL broadband connection at home wid my desktop and laptop . Now i want to go wireless for the laptop .

MTNL broadband connects with a D-link 502T MODEM . Sumeone please tell me which wireless router do i need to buy and how do i connect it with my MTNL MODEM ?? I need the best router in terms of performance .

I wud be really thankful if sumone describes me a step by step process of setting up all my wireless network .

Experts please give ur advice .

as 4 a router u must seriously consider buying a D-Link DSL-G604T
u shud get it 4 around 4-5.5k

u cud also go 4 Netgear DG834G
shud get if around 3.5-4k

Thnaks for replying , how about LINKSYS ? I hv heard a lot abt linksys performance . Plz suggest me more .

goin just by LINSYS's rep, der routers shud b good [never had a chance of usin c'in 1]

but d thin is dat u got a D-LINK ka modem, so der is less chance of facin compatibility issues [not dat by usin others u will face any 4 sure] if u go 4 a D-LINK ka router
