just make sure that ur pc power switch isnt stuck.

sometimes, it happens that the power switch gets stuck in 'on' position and everytime u turn on the ups, pc boots up.

didnt u change d bios settings after changing d battery?

ur rig is running in d safest, read [slowest] possible config

it seems ur bios has sum setting 4 bios-ups thingy [wild guess]

enter ur bios and check it out

2 change BIOs settings u got 2 enter d BIOS right at d start of boot process

u either gotta press d F1 key or del key [depends on mobo] 2 gain accces 2 d bios

do it once again, remove the battery and then, put it again back after 20 mins, your M/B will reset it to factory default and then boot and shut off and see, this may be due to bios incorrect setting
