You HAVE to add new ram of same frequency for the smooth and better performance.

Presently, which ram you are using ??

Why not use 400 MHz Ram which should work @ 333 along with the present stick.

I am not getting 333 MHz(as per my original RAM) . However, in 400 MHz both 256 and 512 Mb are available. What will be the best option ?

1. 256Mb/333Mhz + 256Mb/400Mhz or

2. 256 Mb/333 Mhz + 512 Mb/400 Mhz or

3. 512Mb/400 Mhz.

Since my Mobo came with RAM of 333Mhz, will the change over to 400Mhz not cause any conflict..??

Thanks

U r having only a 256MB 333MHz RAM Stick. You do better exchange it for a 512MB stick of atleast 533MHz. You wont regret it
