<Please Suggest> .dat to .avi without audio sync problem

I need to convert .dat (2 cd vcd movie) to .avi (size around 700-850mb approx).

Shouldn't be any audio or sync problem.

Kindly guide me on how to proceed.

Sharewares/paid software suggestion will do.

use VCD Gear to extract mpg data from d dat file

wen usin VCD Gear ensure dat u enable Fix mpeg error option

den ue VirtualDubMod with d necessary codec using which u wanna encode d file

den in VirtualDubMod Options>Sync to sound and Option>Drop frames when behind
to be enabled 2 keep AV in sync
