hello friends, i have recently buyed a computer having
80-GB seagate harddisk,
many a time i get error when my computer start during bios phase,
"boot disk error, insert proper boot medium"
and when i restart it boots normally,
this problem is not frequent but i get this message after every 2-3 days,
i have checked the boot disk priorities,
what could be the problem...
Advertisements. Register and be a member of the community to get rid of them.
call the service if it is a branded one
otherwise...
clean the HDD cable and HDD esp contacts, this should solve the prob.
if not
try interchanging this cable with the CD-ROM cable, they r of same type(if you have a non SATA HDD)
