Hi pal, I read & heard dat windows VISTA is shipped only on DVD. Is this true as i can find some people in my locality selling Windows Vista CD for Rs.200/- .What do u think abt these cds.
Another Q, what is the present price of 512 mb DDR 1 400 ram? Is 2nd hand ram good?

Its a customized Windows Vista CD where most of the components are removed using software such as vLite
And then Size is Reduced so as to fit on a CD

It might even be Windows XP with 'SP3'(Yeah, I know that there is no official SP3 release) Like Rakesh told, it will be slip streamed and a few features would be added. Don't go for it!

For all i know there is one Vista Lite edition taking the rounds on torrents thats about 600mb.
Its not a good one.(Doesnt have Media center , Windows defender,Windows movie maker, etc goodies)
Its stripped to the basics.
But then it is there in one cd.
