you can upload it to rapidshare.de it can take that much data..and also it stays there for 1 month unlike yousendit
which delete it after 7 days

I will also suggest that you better split the files into smaller files so that it would be easier for you to upload it and for those who download too.

Rapidshare is good but just one drawback- it doesnt allow download managers. Maybe you can try Spymac.net but I dont know whats the upload limit. And you will have to use an ftp client to upload the files.

Try www.streamload.com . Unlike other sites, this wont delete ur data after a week or so. But here the quota is 100mb per month ..so its 1.2 GB per year. since u have a 565mb file ,u can split it into 6 files, sign up there for 6 accounts and upload it .
OR
use 1 account and take 6 months to upload the whole file

Create a new gmail account

Upload the file in the inbox(refer to feb's digit on the required software)

Give the user name and password to whom you wanna send the file

The user will download it him/herself.

I think this is the sexiest idea around here

I think there is a limit of 10mb for attachments. He wants to upload a 565mb file. No email service allows such a huge file to be sent as attachment.

His best options are either yousendit or rapidshare.
