Default web pages loading very slowly


hi guys from from last tuesday sites are not loading.only google is loading and even thinkdigit.com is not loading .when i ping the sites it replies but doesnt load .I am using windows xp with sp2 and firefox latest version.plz help me out guys.

there are lots of reason behind slow speed. First I will request you to full scaning of your system using one good updated antivirus and two antispyware...and turn off system restore before scaning.

i have scanned it using spyware doctor and avast anti virus its of no use it still is very slow in loading pages but i have notice one thing the status of connection show data transfer only when i ping a site otherwise it stops until click it to reload then data transfer starts and without open the full site it stops.

For the last 2-3 days, certain pages are not always getting loaded. Somebody else also had posted about the same issue.

try clearing temp folder, prefetch folder, internet cache of files, cookies, & history. run a disk cleanup, and defrag if neccessary. how much free space do u have on ur sys. as ravi stated it there can be a lot of reasons. how often do run those scans? how many proccess do you have running in the backround. ( I bet you wouldn't need some of them) download hijack this and post here if you're still having problems.

or mayb browser must have blocked those sites , bymistake ........

Use CCleaner... !!! see if that helps...
