Question Help me in buying a PC!!!

Hi guys!

I want to build a Desktop PC and my budget for the CPU+Keyboard+Mouse is around 30K. As I already have a DVD Writer, you can exclude the same from the picture. I need a Core 2 Duo foresure. My needs would be as follows:

Motherboard
(Good Brand with onboard Audio, Lan, PCIE Slot, Graphics & as many PCI slots possible)
Intel/AMD Processor (Core 2 Duo) The best that can go in my budget.
FDD
160 GB HDD (Atleast)
1 GB DDR2 Kingston RAM
Decent Graphics Card (In which I can play all games - 7600 GS Bare minimum)
Power Unit
Cabinet
Keyboard
Mouse
+all thats there in a CPU

What I am most confused is weather i should go for AMD or Intel.

Please tell the best configuration possible and also mention the make and price if individual parts if possible.

Thank you.

There is no AMD Core 2 Duo , its a TM product of Intel !!!

anyway, as U say Core 2 Duo, here is the picture from Kolkata...

C2D E6420 @ 8000 + 4% TAX
ASUS P5N-E SLi @ 6500 + 4% TAX (The price is bit high for some reason comare to other parts of India)
2GB DDR-II 667MHz @ 3800 + 4% TAX
160 GB SATA-II @ 2050 + 4% TAX
XFX 8600 GT 256MB @ 7000 + 4% TAX
Cabby + ColorSit 450 SMPS @ 2000
Microsoft Combo @ 750

TAX = 1208

Total = 31408

Now problem is i think tax is at more than 10% in Orrisa and also some products will be costlier, so I would suggest take a pic in Local Market for these products and post back, which can give us an idea, then we may be able to give u the best combination !!!

Sorry... but here is one hard fact...

Every Bloody shop in almost every where cheat...

Now I may suggest u one, which allways gives me best deal, but i can asure u that he will try to earn more from a new customer... as its their Busines

I can give u the picture, that this is the expected price, you can roam around in Kolkata Chandi Market to get the best deal...

!!!

As u have asked, mostlly we take our computer needs from Caltron !!! but for sure, as new customer Caltron will ask 5 to 10 % more on each products

Its you who has to bargain
