How to censor movies quickly??

I want to censor some part of a movie so that I can see it comfortably with my parents.

I know it can be done with adobe premiere but It will take a lot of time to re-encode the movie which I do not want to do.

I want an easy alternative like.
show blank screen for a specific given time,
or skip the movie automatically from a given frame to a given frame.

do any of the media players have these features??
I have windows and ubuntu both.
how do I do it please help.

ahh i don't think so u can use the windows movie maker to censor or delete those parts

Windows Movie Maker do have options to open up a Movie file (supported ones off course) then Edit by deleting some parts and then Re-Encode it back to DVD or save a file !!!

but in any case, its any thing but a Fast process !!!

How ever there are Pro paid tools too, like Pinnacle or Ulead !!!
