dvd not loading

hi guys my dvd rom drive is not loading digit dvd by itself i have to open the dvd and the double click the digit file to load it , my dvd burner is loading it properly and i have autoplay enabled and as well as i have check the registry it does have autoplay enabled, but still dvds are not loading by default.
plz help .

you may have disable autorun.Please enable it.Here is how you can do.

its already set to 1 , but still its not working.

does the same digit DVD/CD auto run on other sytem.Please check.

yeah it run properly on the dvd burner.

Do you have two drive in your system???

Some older versions of DVD-ROMS don't support auto booting the DVDs that you load into em. I had an older Compaq version of DVD ROM which had the same problem as yours. So rest assured, your computer is getting old..
