Hey I have been facing a problem with my Task Manager. When I press Ctrl+Alt+Del, the task manager appears for a sec or two and then dissappears. Same happens when I type "regedit" in Run. What is happening? Please help.

I am running WinXP, Indian version, patched with all the updates that the Windows Update allows me to. I have AVG, Spybot S&D and Adaware installed and I regularly scan my PC with them. All have been updated with the latest definitions. I am stumped!
