Default how to make backups of mcafee dat files ?

hey dudes,

my friend has McAfee VirusScan version: 8.0 build: 8.0.41 running on windows 2000 server.
he wants to format his hard and install xp....since his virus definition files (dat) are uptodate, he wants to know if it is possible to take backup copies of the dat files and how to do it, so he does not have to download them again once he installs xp.

any help is greatly appreciated.

thanks,
shehan

SuperDAT files can be used to update McAfee's Virus Definition, even after u reinstall/ format hard disk.

just take a backup of latest SuperDATs. It will be enough.
