I recently purchased TechCom TV Tuner card. I felt following deficiencies exist in the associated TVR Software.

FM Radio – There does not seem to be a feature to manually add frequency & save a channel. The 98.3 Radio Mirchi which is very clearly captured during auto scan simply does not reflect in the save channel list and something else like 90.2 which has nothing being aired is shown as saved channel.

TV - When going full screen I though mouse pointer could have been programmatically removed

TV – The channel change gives a sharp cracking noise thru speakers for a split second, this may be behavior by design, however sound could have been muted for a short duration while changing channels.

Mute – I though Mute would mute only the input source i.e. Line In. Here it mutes the master volume ‘Mute All’ from the audio properties.

I don’t intend to say that this product is bad, but certainly above software controlled features could have made it much better.

I think there's no problem with your tv tunner card
Try using some other software such as chirs tv
(using it for ages)
Its pretty solid compared to TVR
