Urgent Help for New rig

Guys i need some wise advise here. I put up in Mumbai so please quote the Mumbai prices.

Going in for a new rig,have come down to the Amd based rig.The config and the prices that I got are as follows:

AMD 3500+ socket 939 Rs. 15000
or The FX range what's the price of the FX??

Asus K8n-Sli Deluxe Rs. 14300
OR
the MSI Neo4 Platinum/Sli

Kingston 512Mb (400fsb) Value Ram Rs.3975
OR
the Hyperx one.Don't think it is available here.


Antec ATP3 2.1 Speakers Rs 3150

Samsung 17" Magic bright Moniter (Black) Rs 7550

MS Keyboard and mouse Rs 1050

Antec 3700 with 400w SMPS Rs 6200
OR
Should I go in for the Vip ones with the 500w cabinet.

PrimeABGB was Quoting Rs. 3500 for the VIP 855+500w SMPS and VIP 855+450w SMPS for Rs. 2200

The Only thing in the vip ones is that they dont suffcient ventilation.
Saw the Antec 3700 Yesterday at PrimeABGB.getting it with the 400w SMPS for Rs. 6200. [b]

Is 400w SMPS Ok for the config,as i might put another card in the future also consider some overclocking

Confused bout the Graphix Card .Have the Nvidia 6600gt in
mind,but which is better the Pine XFX 6600gt Extreme Gamers Edition or the Nvidia 6600gt by Nvidia.

The Pine XFX One is for Rs. 12700


And also I have an old system for which the guy have given me a price of Rs.2500 is it ok?.The configuration of the Old rig is:

PIII 450
Motherboard which is not working
SIS 6324 Graphix card
Creative SB live soundcard
64 mb Hynix ram.
1.44" Floppy
Samsung 45Bn moniter
Cabinet.


Guys Please reply as soon As possible cause i need the rig as soon as possible.

i feel u shld go for s939 3200+ winchester which is priced at 11k

so u wod save some 4-5k there

rest of the things are ok

go for the VIP cabinet which costs less and save abt 4k here too

and somehow try to squeeze some more bucks and get another 6600GT same brand and get the SLI working

wod sure kick a$$

and yea abt tht old system of urs:

can u temme the final price of all those at wht u r selling

i m interested in buying that

i too m from mumbai

i wod give more than tht guy gives you for sure

Don't go for FX range. 15K is OK for 3500

You may go for Transcend CL 2.5 RAM for 3400

If you want to Sli then you might consider Antec true blue 480 @ 5.2K


Hey bargain hard if you are getting anything Antec or XFX from Prime ABGB.

The Antec 3700 cabinet with the 400w smps is ok or what?.Because I might go in for the the other card in the future and the guy has told me that he would give me a good buyback offer.

antec truepower series are much better than generic 500w powersupplies , so no problems even if you get a lesser capacity

recommend at least a truepower 430W, should be enough to meet your needs

if not go for a powersafe/kunhar 500W smps which should come close to 3k , great option as well
