price of that thumb scan device

we are using a biometric device for attendance means a software which records thumb fingerprints and maintains attendance...

we have a usb device that scan the fingerprint and sends it to computer....

we want to add some more such devices...but we want to buy it ourself...

how much the cheapest one of those cost....

are there any other bio mertic software or method we can adopt...

but the main question is price of that scan device...
should not be branded or original..just which works fine..can be chinese...

any suggestion and idea..

this is not found in whole india ..
or this forums has not has people who know about it...

well i thought that it would be found easily...
but even i nmarket i was not able to find one and vendor looking as if i am asking for device of 3000 century...
