Creating batch file from VB

Hi guys,
I want to create a batch file in vb.
Can anyone tell me the code.

After creating the file i aslo want add some command in that file.
Also want to pass string which i will take from text box.

I also have questions regarding batch files!
Q1 How I can start multiple programs with a batch file?
Like I want to make a batch file that calls ff, trillian etc
I tried but find that it stucks and keep waiting after calling the first application.
I hope I am clear now!
Q2 I want to make a batch file containing ping command but on execution it goes like a indefinite loop without showing anything other than the command.
Pl help.
