though question is whimsical...any way it from no way can be legal..other wise why would one say "Trail Version"...but thing is that in the asain countries the rule have not been stricty put in action because of
larger number of people doing such things..
economical difference...an US man can pay 100 dollar for a soft but when a indian man tries pay s/he has to pay around 7000..with taxes and all..
so people dont bother...

so it is from no way legal..

Some time its hard to prove you have extended your trial period... anyway as every one said its illegal...

but saying that, i have seen people using Windows Server 2003 R2 as desktop OS and they format in every 180 Days !!! so its hard to prove once you see their PC, whether they have extended their Trial or Not
