I have some freaking automatic update problem!Help!

I don't know if what is happening is right but i am just confused as everytime i like start my pc on the automatic update button in the bar keeps telling me there are new updates thats ready to be installed. Well i know what this does but this keeps repeating itself even after i've updated the computer and switch it on again. I install the updates then restart but to no avail the updates thing is still displayed?
So is there something wrong with the pc? I'm confuse!

are they same updates that u have installed .

u can even turn off automatic updates .

or u can even mark some updates not to show forever ( no indications , no bar )

updates like wga or many u don't want


may be ur updates are not installed properly

check that update after installing it in add/remove programmes that they are installed properly or not .

Please visit Windows Update or Microsoft Update website once and try to manually install the updates. The Updates may be getting failed, or something.
