We all have seen the magic of AJAX in webmail. I want to know if any AJAX desktop client is there for home users or is slated to be released.

I dont think Ajax comes with Desktop enviroment... how ever, yes there is Free to use AJAX Web Mail scripts (Runs in Web Server with IMAP support), like Round Cube http://roundcube.net/
