how much speed do u get in torrents
hello,
i have bsnl home500 . i use azureus .in quite a lot of torrents i get download speeds of 1-4 kBps . is this what most of u get ? can i do something to improve it ?

it depend on the one from whom you are downloading the files...
he restricts the upload speed....
i get 1-5kbps

but 100-150 KBps as collaborative...

Sometimes-300KBps stable.
Normal-230KBps stable
When Seeds r less or the server has more load then-120KBps

i get 15 to 24 kbps depending on peers (128kpbs connection) and using bitcomet

190 KB/s to 212KB/s thats what i observed when before sleeping as the d/l is happening Happy Hours(2-8 )

Its best that you download only 1 torrent at a time .. Helps improve completion time.

thanks . in one torrent i got 66 kBps and in another 190 kBps .why do speeds slowly ascend and then remain steady ?

anyway, On Topic, Actually theoritically Torrents will give u better speeds that a web server !!!  and me with Home 500 BSNL do get full 250 to 275 kbps in Night UL time

hey ur getting low speed ... i only get around maximum of 22kBps rate even after having 128kBps connection... check out

i've got an mtnl connection (since i'm in delhi). they've only upgraded some of their plans to 2mBps so i'm still on 256kBps i hear that BSNL has upgraded all to 2mBps

I am on BSNL 900 UL paln.
Speed 256 kbps.
I get 26-27 KBps on torrents.
So far I liked ISOHunt- multiple trackers u know..
