help me retriving the key

My friend bought another HCL Pc for his business in which he got another XP pro. & for this reason he gaved me the previously XP pro.

But i cant able to find the key of the disk frind help me to retrive the key of the disk

Insert CD and goto "I386" folder. Under this folder look for following files:

Unattend.txt (or Unattended.txt)
Winnt.sif

The product key might present there.

thx now i got the key .Now how i valided it to microsoft(Genuine),is their any key is required ,if yes where i get this.

Just connect net and it'll automatically validate ur windows. U can also launch the validation wizard by giving following command in RUN dialog box:

%windir%\System32\oobe\msoobe.exe /a
