Limewire Pro Probs..

hey buddies..

i download two video songs from Limewire and saved them in this directory ::

C:\Program Files\Limewire\Downloads [ Created my own folder ]

now when i browse to the folder within the limewire directoy..there is no such folder available

...turned on all hidden files and folders but no relief !

now the interesting part...when i open limewire and have a look at my saved files ... the files are present in that folder and i can even launch them.

.but that folder isn't opening...

wats the matter wid it ? i don't want to lose my videos...Plz Help

See if the files are here:

C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Local Settings\Application Data\

Hopefully, there will be a Limewire folder in there(Note: see that you have the show hidden files option checked)

hey buddy open limewire then go to -> options-> click on saving on left pannen then see the folder location where the files r stored

they r generally stored in Shared folder

Start --> Search. Period.

Try to search extensions of those video files in "C" drive e.g. *.avi or *.mpg in search option in explorer.

When i was using the search feature of Windows Vista , no such files found in the entire C: , but when i logged onto Windows XP Prof. n used the feature ...i got my files

can ne1 imagine where my files got stored ::: The Path ::--

C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Progr am Files\LimeWire\Downloads
