i have heard from a frnd that if u install VISTA ..u cant install any third party softwares like Winamp etc u have to take license of them online ??

Well, Winamp is a shareware so, there is also a paid version for which you'll have to take license... However, its not due to Vista.

Yeah.... you can install 3rd Party software...

Although I've heard speculations that 3rd party Security Apps like antiviruses can't be installed... I don't know whether this info is right or not... PLease verify..

All are rumors. U can install each and every vista compatible software in Vista.
Actually a few softwares are not vista compatible, so u can't use them. But most of them work in compatibility mode...

yeah u can use,and soon u will get every driver compatible with vista so no prob...
