have to upgrade...need help

hi guys,
i currently hav a p4 1.9 ghz system with 256 mb ram,40 gb hard disk and a nvidia geforce2 mx400 graphic card and the motherboard is a via chipset witn a 4x agp slot and no pci express..lately i hav been thinking of upgrading my system bcos it is unable to support all the latest games...so guys what do u suggest...i hav a very meagre budget of rs 9000..

should i go for a intel 965 motherboard with a ram and hard disk upgrade???would the onboard graphics on this board support all the latest games????and also wud just changing the board do the trick with me sticking to my p4 1.9 ghz for this board?????

256MB wont do sny good with any on board grfx...

u have to wait to increase ur budget !!! or, Get some more RAM (Damn, these days DDR RAM's are very costly) and may be a 6600 AGP Card ??

wat if i increase it to 512 mb on 965 board...wud it work...actually iam fed up with this current motherboard of mine..no pci express slot...

U see, when u plan to put a Better PCI-E card u would need a good procy to get the most of of the PCI-E card

so, G965 will use x3000 GMA is good to run Vista as it will support DX 10, but not the best on board grfx with Gaming !!!!

1GB DDR costs around 3.8 to 4k + TAXin Kolkata, where as i am not sure about XFX 6600 but both should come under ur budget or 9k !!!

these 2 would go another 1 and half year !!!! after then u would need to have a good budget to overhal ur PC... !!!!

as with 9k u wont be able to get a X2 with a good Nvidia or ATI or AMD chip board too... !!!

Therefore 1GB + 6600 seemed logical to me.. !!
