how 2 select multiple programms in start menu @ 1 go ???

There are various tools like macromagic etc. which may be of help to you. Otherwise one may be able to make scripts. But I dont know how.

x:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu

and

x:\Documents and Settings\User Name\Start Menu

where x is ur Windows Installation drive !!

^^ You can also right-click on the Start Button and select Open/Open All Users to go to the corresponding folder instead of browsing to the folder...

Left-Shift+Click on shortcut opens the app in background and keeps the start menu in focus... Are you using Win XP or Vista?

Works even on Windows98. Are you sure, it is the Left Shift and not Right Shift ?
