Most of the livecds don`t work on my computer unless I set the refresh rate to 50hz.even ubuntu did not work.Please tell me do I have to do prevent this.do i have to upgrade anything.

i dont understand ....... how do u set the refresh rate in dos mode...... if i am not misstaking then u need to boot from the start up........

any way.... which OS u r in?

how in hells name does the os matter when hes talkin abt live cds ?

for example in knoppix I have to give the boot command as
knoppix xrefresh=50 for it to work .But my friends dont have to give this command.they just press enter ath boot command.

the ubntu live cd I didnt know how to configure.Even the installed ubuntu did not work.that is there is no gui
