Bit Comet Query

I recently installed Bit Comet and tried downloading couple of songs from torrents.
In between I had to disconnect and when I reconnected I found that the upload rate was much higher than download. It was uploading almost the same amounts of data as what it was downloading. Any idea what & why it uploads almost same amounts of data when I am primarily downloading a song.

The torrent clients will try to upload at maximum speed (if you do not set otherway) and to download at its best. Your download speed does not affect its upload speed. Your download speed can be slow because of lots of reasons. Most probably there are not good number of seeders or they are slow connection seeders.

if ur on DSL then dont worry abt uplaod speed interfering with download speed cuz they have separate frequecny region separated by a dummy frequency reason.
