@speedyguy: u on crack or wat??
915GAV is PCIX ONLY...
@mohit: ur Gfx card aint good, rest of it is really not that bad...
Good PCIX cards start from 7.5k for teh XFX 6600 128Mb, & the 6600Gt fer 13.5k ...
tho if u just wanna play Doom3,then u shud get by fine...
but seriously, get the 6600; at the bare minimum...

Its not a bad system.Although Mobo and grafix card are a downer.
You could have gone for Asus P5GD1-VM,far better mobo than this one.
Grafix card - get XFX Geforce 6600 plain one 128 mB.This is sufficinet enough.
Also you have bot a Prescott, stay ready for high temperatures. If case isnt well ventilated then be ready to bear the irritating noise of the CPU Fan that desperately tries to keep the chip cool.

besides changing ur graphics card also consider to change ur speakers, i mean it looks like u want to buy this machine to enjoy doom 3, so along with a decent graphics card also go for 5.1 speakers setup coz doom 3 sounds just awesome in 5.1 mode....creative inspire series is decent enough but dont expect much frills....
if u ask me i would suggest u altec lansing 5100, 5.1 speakers arnd Rs.8000, best 5.1 speakers under 10K category without a SHADOW OF DOUBT!!
as far as choice of graphics card is concerned, well if u dont have enough bucks to spend then go for ati radeon 9600pro, u will be able to play doom3 with medium settings....otherwise there's a whole lot of choices available in the market....

And why do u think he should have done that?????
Since PCI-E cards are of much more performance than an AGP counterparts provided sufficient Ram and a good proccy.....Plus this is the latest technology and will soon enough overtake the AGP boards
Peace dude
