Arrow Unable to Open Drives by double clicking it...


Hey Guys…..

I am unable to open any drive by double clicking on that icon…….…………………….
Whenever I double click in ………c:\ drive icon……………………
A Open With dialog box appears :





Henceforth, I hav to open it with Right Click >Open……………..

In addition……………….
I am unable to open any drive from RUN command also....……………..
When ever I type C:\..in Run command...................... A dialog box appears..……………...



Therefore please help me………………………..

Go to folder options and check "Show Hidden files".
Now go to the root directory. You will find "autorun.inf". Delete it.
Do this to all drives.
Restart Windows.

Ya.. what swatkat said is the solution if you mess up with settings. The solution I gave is usually when infected with worm. This may be after effect of removing infection. The autorun.inf file is located directly in the root directory. ie. C:\
Did the problem got solved?
