I want to buy a new PC .

Please tell me the configuration of a new PC under Rs 30K.
Should i go for assembled or branded Pc.

i suggest that you must go for assembled pc,
the good configuration will be this which costs you around 29,000 to 30,000
INTEL P4-3.0GHZ
INTEL(O)-915GAV MOTHERBOARD,
80-GB SEAGATE HARD DISK,
SONY-CD/RW
256MB(400 FSB) DDR RAM
AND REST you can choose.......

My suggestions for U would be .. get a
intel original D865GBF M/B (contains 8X grahics accelerator)
P4 (whichever U can get..pot for 1MB L2 cache)
80GB Seagatte HDD
Sony combo-drive (bcz DVD R the future man!)
512 MB DDR RAM ...

Monitor i think U can easily afford a 17" monitor .. look for FLATRON!! .. rest can be adjusted to ur budget!
