pen drive not opening

hiii frns ive a GIGABYTE 128MB pen drive which i got as a gift for subscribing DIGIT for 1 year..nw an error has occured. it doesnt open..also i tried to format it....is says.."the disk is write protected".. what to do??

See if there is any write protect switch on the Pendrive.. many pendrive has one..

i have face the same problem earlier
ther wil bnot any write protected switch confirmed!
Just download "HP Windows Format Utility for USB Drive Key or DiskOnKey"

This software will format ur pen drive & then u can reuse it

if it is under warranty, return it to the shop from where it was sent to you. You will get a replacement. I got one for Transcend. That also a brand new one.
