hey guys i hav a bit problem with my avatar... look at it.... its not showing the image properly.... its not clear... wat shall i do... i also tried to uploading from site but it looks the same.... wat 2 do??

Give link to original image. If it's already messed up, nothing much can be done.

it was 216x200.... but i resized tat to 80x80.. i tried diff format like bmp,jpg,png... but none worked

i also tried other images... even those look dirty(messing up with their colors)

dude dont use paint ... it sometimes messes up the image ... use gimp or photoshop or ne thing else ... do 1 thing host the image on imageshack.us and post the link here ... me or some 1 else will crop it while making sure the colors are preserved

ok guys this is the site there are 3 images i tried using.... but all the three got messed up with the colors even after resizing them... try ur luck

Photoshop itself is a big RAM hogger..so its images are disk hoggers.
Simple logic.
