Default Prob in installing SuSE 9.0 N FC 3

hello,
on my new comp im facing a strange prob tht as i start to install any of these SuSE 9.0 or FC 3....... after kernel loading it gets restart every time. i did tht a lot of times. THn i tried RedHat 9.0 tht get installed....
Can anybody make out whats N due to what this prob is. N wht can be its solution.????
My sys config is:
2.8 GHz
p4
256 DDR
N its compaq branded PC instead...
plz help out............

If red hat 9 got installed on your PC then FC will install on it. Check the installation media or see what options did you select on setup also see the HDD partitions that you have made. Worst case senario load red hat 9 and then insert the FC3 media and do an upgrade But this is a last resort option only.
