movie quality

I have dhoom 2 movie in .dat extension. But the quality is not so good ie: the videosize is small.

do i need to convert it to other formats to get high quality if so give the software name to do so

and i have widescreen LCD and the system has configured it properly as a widescreen screen but even after this there is black strips above and below the video

The only thing that a desktop video conversion software does is either lower the quality or keep the same quality.

The video quality once lost cannot be regained. The only option you have is to get another copy of the same video which is of a better quality.

Video convertion results in decreased quality of Video.
The black strip will be there in all 65mm and 70mm Video shoots. Don't worry about that.

nah , u can't even keep the quality same it'll only decrease with every conversion

Too bad Devrathnd, but I too have now realised to get good quality videos

Video quality cannot be improved.though u can get rid of some video problems by using virtualdub
