Unhappy HDD Problem


hi everyone i need help on HDD problem. I have 40gb samsung HDD with 4 partition. My problem is that when i connect this drive with my system it goes hang on the frist most screen of system and show only the of intel company MY borad is D850MV model 2002. PLz help how can i use my this drive wheather its slave or master.

Well do you really think its problem with your hard-disk.
Check that your CMOS battery is not dead in which case u need to press F1 to enter the system.. Then find a friend who has a computer. Test your harddisk there. Better format it if you can. and repartition it.

SATA HDD 160GB- BIOS not detecting

Make sure first Boot device is set to hard disk in BIOS.
