Default Help with Dual OS???

Hi Guys!

I have 4 partitions in my computer in which I have installed Windows XP in two of them, thereby having a dual OS (That is what it is called I guess). Now I want to remove the one installed in D Drive. The primary drive is C. So can I just start my OS in C Drive and format D Drive and then change the boot.ini file or are there more changes that I have to make.

Please guide...Chao...

Default Re: Help with Dual OS???

Yes youo can format the drive (atleast just try it out) otherwise do one thing reboot from the winXP cd and format the D drive but don not install it.
I think in this way boot.ini file will not corupt. Otherwise take a back up of it before hand.

I also tried this way of to make my comp fast by installing half the softwares on other windows but it hardly worked well.
