U can hide the Kazaa icon from the system tray. Right-click on the taskbar and select properties. There, in the taskbar tab click on customie (next to 'hide inactive icons'). Find the entry labelled 'Kazaa' and change its behaviour to 'Always Hide'.

If you want to go through lots of hard work you can make a blank icon file and replace the original kazaa icon. maybe this will work. :S otherwise you can check if kazaa has the options (i'm not sure if it does) or just google it.

If u want to hide permanently Windows Notification Area for ur work time...

USE GROUP POLICY EDITOR IN WIN XP PRO (GPEDIT.MSC) TO PERMANENTLY HIDE YOUR NOTIFICATION AREA...

RUN>GPEDIT.MSC>USER CONFIGURATION>ADMIN TEMPLATES>START MENU AND TASKBAR>HIDE NOTIFICATION AREA>> Properties >> check Enable > OK > Log-off and Log Back...

GPEDIT.MSC is a cool tool bundle with XP.... explore urself...
