CD Rom does not work

when my pc will have 100% usages thenmy CD rom stops to work... It makes hang and little only it Works... and then i have to restart and then it works fine... can any buddy help me

Check the following

1. 1. Make sure that your cdrom is using the UDMA mode of data transfer and not the PIO mode. To check this you have to check the bios or install the HD tune form Digit March 07 issue.
2. 2. Check whether your computer is infected with virus or not.

there is no virus and whatis the UDMA mode

^6Buddy there is a life for lens of CDROM and after 3 years I think ur lens is almost retired

better go for a new drive

I have a problem with my CD's all my CD's are not working there is about 20 CD's are left out of 50 , 30 are used but when i try to burn other 20 CD's it is not working. It also not skretch but why it is not working i don't know. I try my both CD-Rom and CD-RW.

can U install the drive in other system and check the lens of the drive??Plz do this first.

Yes, i clean the cd rom and cd writer lens but nothing happen same problem comes. All other CD's working but my blank CD's are not working. A problem is on a CD's or in Lens. I have a Benq CD Rom and Asus CD - RW.
