could you tell us what exactly is the problem with your SMPS? I have a 300W SMPS and run the following things:
P4 2.8HT 800MHz FSB
120GB Samsung SATA
20GB Segate PATA
1x CDRW
1x DVDROM
2x NICs
1x ATi Radeon 7000

Everything runs fine.

had trouble with 300w smps for amd 2600 , a7v8x-ms ,samsung combo and 120 gb hdd , plus 3 additional cab fans .

switched to zebronics 350w , which was lousy (overheated , fuse went off ) ,

then to techcom 350w , good cooling and steady supply .

so if ur looking for future upgrades go for anything above 350w . and make sure the smps service center is in ur city .

ok just read ur other thread . something must be wrong in this forum . i never got ur previous thread listed in " posts since last visit " . really odd .

ok check for bios updates here :

http://usa.asus.com/support/download...Name=A7V400-MX

its in 1009 now . read the instructions carefully . if ur going in for bios update . post a msg here b4 doing it , to clear all ur doubts b4 doing it
